Brian Blum has worked at BYU since 2012 and currently serves as the Director of Student Financial Services. Prior to joining BYU, Brian spent eight years at BYU-Hawaii as the Director of Financial Services/Controller. Brian also worked for UC-San Francisco as a Financial Analyst, and prior to UC–San Francisco, he performed financial statement audits as a CPA in the Not-for-Profit and Financial Institution industries. Brian earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from BYU and a Master's in Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah. Brian grew up in Oregon and California and currently resides in Pleasant Grove with his wife, Laura, and four sons. In his spare time, he enjoys playing and coaching hockey.
