Brian Poole has been at BYU since 2011. He was awarded his PhD from Pennsylvania State University in immunology. He then completed post-doctoral training at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, focusing on viral contributions to autoimmune diseases. His main research focuses now are virology and vaccination. His favorite part of his job is seeing students understand new concepts.
