As a faculty member of the BYU School of Music, Christian Smith serves as Professor of Bassoon, conducts the BYU Symphony Orchestra, teaches instrumental conducting, coaches chamber music, and regularly performs with Orpheus Winds, the resident faculty wind quintet. As a solo, chamber, and orchestral musician, he has performed in Canada, Brazil, Mexico, United Kingdom, Spain, France, and in many cities in the United States.
