Eric Jenson is the Director of Academic Support Unit Reviews and an Associate Director of Institutional Research and Assessment. In these roles, Eric directs the academic support unit reviews across campus and the department's survey data collection efforts.
Prior to his current responsibilities. Eric served as an Associate Director of Institutional Assessment and Analysis. In this role, Eric directed multiple surveys including the Recent Graduates Survey, the National Survey of Student Engagement, and the BYU Employers Survey. Prior to 2008, Eric served as an Assessment Consultant.
Prior to being employed at BYU, Eric worked as a psychometrician for several test development companies, primarily focused on developing certification tests for the IT market. Eric also worked previously for the State of Utah as a child abuse investigator and for the Catholic Church as a youth and marriage counselor.
Eric earned a B.A. in Family and Human Development from Utah State University, a M.S.W. in Social Work from New Mexico State University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Research and Evaluation Methodologies from Utah State University.
