Grant Eckstein has been at BYU since 2015 and is an associate chair in the Linguistics department. He holds a PhD and MA in Linguistics from UC Davis.
At BYU, he teaches a variety of classes including academic writing and teacher training courses. His research interests include second language reading and writing development and pedagogy, including issues related to first-year composition.
