Joanne Staheli began working as an administrative assistant in Assessment and Planning in September 2023. Her responsibilities include planning with departments preparing for their upcoming unit review. Joanne supports the external reviewers with their travel and on-site duties and works with the internal reviewers and the director of the University Academic Unit Review Council to process the final report.
Joanne worked at VitalSmarts (now CrucialLearning), a corporate training company, as an administrative assistant to the founders/authors for seventeen years. Her role shifted to working with the master trainers as several partners retired, and the company was sold.
She supported 40+ contract master trainers, keeping the domestic and international members connected in a culture of collaboration and connectedness. She was a collaborative member on product launches, corporate team building, and global trainer conferences, hosting 500 client trainers and licensees from 20+ countries.
Joanne is a Brigham Young University graduate with a B.S. in health and physical education and is certified in secondary education. She coached high school and club gymnastics and was state chair for Utah/USA Gymnastics. She was a nationally certified judge in women’s gymnastics for 20+ years, judging college and USAG club gymnastics.
