Joe Hadfield

IT Administration

Joe Hadfield works for the Technology Planning Center in the Office of I.T.  His primary role is to remove unneeded or redundant technology to offset the growing demands for technology services. He also serves as a liaison for the TPC with other CES schools.

A double-graduate of BYU, Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in public policy. He began his career in Silicon Valley doing policy research for clients such as the Department of Defense, the National Science Foundation, and AARP. Returning to BYU in 2007, Joe served in a series of positions with University Communications, including science writer, social media manager, and publisher of BYU.edu. He lives in Provo and usually walks to work with a good book in hand or in the headphones.
