Joe Merrill has been with the BYU Store since 1988. He has served in a variety of roles in accounting, operations, and HR. He is currently the Assistant Director. Prior to joining BYU, Joe spent 2 years with Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation programming aircraft simulators and 4 years with Applied Information Systems developing enterprise software for university bookstores. Joe earned both a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from BYU. Other than 2 years in Brazil on a mission, Joe has lived in Orem since he was 11. He and his wife Bonnie are the parents of 3 boys and have 6 grandchildren. His hobbies include day hikes while geocaching and birding.
