John received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from BYU in 2004. He earned his CPA license in Arizona in 2007. He worked at Phelps Dodge Mining Company and Eastern Arizona College before coming to BYU in 2008. John held various positions in Treasury Services before becoming the Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting in 2019. He currently oversees the Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting departments.
John resides in Spanish Fork, where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Angie, and their six boys. John is almost always coaching one of his sons in basketball, football, or soccer. They all love BYU sports and take pride in being part of Cougar Nation!
