Since 2014, Jon Spackman has served as Assistant to the Dean of Continuing Education with responsibility for assessment, accreditation, and research. Also at BYU, he worked as assistant controller and controller for Continuing Education since 2005. Prior to joining BYU, Jon spent seven years in the San Francisco Bay area performing and managing audits with a multinational accounting firm, a national media conglomerate, and a multinational investment bank. Jon is a certified public accountant with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from BYU. In 2013, he earned a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology from BYU and has been an active presenter and author in that field. He enjoys spending time with his eight children and wife, Debra - especially surfing. They reside in Spanish Fork, Utah.
