Kurt is an associate teaching professor in the Romney Institute of Public Service & Ethics in the Marriott School of Business.
His undergrad (English) and master’s (organizational behavior) are from BYU; his PhD (management science & engineering) is from Stanford. He does research on professions and occupations and teaches courses on management communication, organizational behavior, and human resource management.
He just returned from a six-month sabbatical in Spain where he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
His wife, Carrie, earned her master’s in Spanish pedagogy from BYU and is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese. They have six children, all of whom have attended BYU.
