Laura Bond

Laura Bond joined the BYU Residence Life Department in 2012. She manages the operations of the single student on-campus housing facilities in Heritage Halls and Wyview Park. Laura loves the challenges and opportunities that come with helping residents learn to thrive in gospel-centered communities. Prior to joining BYU, Laura worked as a secondary education teacher for twelve years. She primarily taught AP English, History, ESL, and Debate courses in both public and private schools. Laura served a full-time mission to the Oakland Temple Visitors’ Center where she gained an appreciation for diverse cultures. Laura received a Bachelor’s of English Teaching from BYU and a Master’s of Academic Advising from Kansas State University. She lives in Orem with her husband. In her spare time, Laura enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, and trying new restaurants.
