Pattie Shumway

Pattie Shumway began working in Assessment and Planning in 2022. She supports the work of the assistant to the president, which includes accreditation, strategic resource planning, academic and academic support unit reviews, and other projects as assigned.

Prior to joining Assessment and Planning, Pattie worked at BYU Graduate Studies as the office manager, where she assisted students and departments in graduate admissions and requirements. She worked for eight years at the Provo Missionary Training Center, supporting the development department and the administrative director of all MTCs.

Pattie earned a BFA in photography in 2010 with minors in English and clothing. She earned a master’s in public administration in 2019. Both degrees are from BYU. She is the mother of five and grandmother of 12.
