Paul Shaw is a Data and BI Engineer dedicated to meeting the analytic data needs of the Office of Assessment and Planning. Additionally, he assists in setting a vision for modernizing the delivery of analytic data to the broader university community. Paul has been in his current role since January 2023.
During his decades-long career, Paul has worked as a software and data engineer supporting a variety of Fortune 500 companies and large public-sector and non-profit organizations. Most recently, Paul built Business Intelligence solutions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including FamilySearch.
Paul has a BS in Business Finance from Brigham Young University. He has completed numerous technical training courses and certifications.
