Randy holds a BS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from BYU and MIT, respectively. Faculty member for 11 years at Oklahoma State University. Faculty member at BYU since 2005. Research is associated with biomedical and biochemical engineering. Developed a Global Engineering Outreach program at BYU which has expanded to currently involve students and/or faculty members from Food Science, Biology, Nursing, Business, Film, Engineering (several majors), Physics, Sociology, and Plant and Wildlife Sciences. Projects are being implemented in Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.
