Sherami Jara has been at BYU for over 12 years. In 2018, she became the Assistant Dean in Humanities over career readiness and experiential learning and directs the joint FHSS and Humanities Liberal Arts Advisement and Careers Center. She has a bachelor's degree in English and a master’s degree in public administration, both from BYU. Sherami is originally from northern California, and she and her husband, Pablo, are the parents of two boys, Harrison and Hudson.
